The proprietary ADC chipsets in the Agilent Technologies Acqiris high-speed digitizers are designed for the specific purpose of optimizing high-speed ADC performance. The analog front-end technology provides the signal conditioning, amplification and interleaving functions essential to achieve high-speed data acquisition at GS/s rates. The digital data handling components provide vital clock and synchronization signals, to capture and memorize acquired data with maximum data throughput. Together these ASICS make low power, high fidelity data acquisition much more accessible, and provide maximum data throughput to the host PC or processor to reduce the time, and cost, of measurement.

CompactPCI Digitizers with on-board Signal Processing

Designed to cover requirements encountered in real-time applications requiring both high sample rate and high bandwidth, the CompactPCI digitizers with on-board FPGA provide real time processing and data bandwidth ideal for Radar, Electronic Warfare and ELINT. Firmware included with these platforms allows data streaming of acquired data using the Serial FPDP protocol, for acquisition and transfer of all acquired data with no dead-time and no loss of data at rates of up to 2 GS/s.

PCI Digitizers with on-board Signal Processing

Featuring full front-end signal conditioning with up to 1 GHz bandwidth, dual-channel capability with synchronous acquisition, the PCI digitizers with on-board FPGA are specifically designed for ultrafast peak detection and analysis, time-to-digital conversion (TDC), signal averaging and sustained sequential recording applications. The on-board FPGA allows digitized signals to be processed and analyzed in real-time. With firmware options, the FPGA can be programmed to perform at the cards’ maximum sampling rate. Peak detection is performed "on-the-fly" using the FPGA to run advanced peak fitting algorithms directly on the digitized waveform data. The peak detector units can automatically compute peak maximum and minimum values together with the associated peak timing information from any acquired waveform.
